Retatrutide testing and lab results

A retatrutide test should confirm the compound, measure the amount against the label and report endotoxin. A high purity figure cannot settle any of these, and products sold as retatrutide have tested as tirzepatide or semaglutide. Of 12,076 amount results in 18,764 published report entries (latest test date Oct 17, 2026), 45.7% were within 10% of the label. These are published results for samples someone chose to test, not a random sample of the market, and none of them can vouch for your vial.

Find a batch

Ask the lab for three results

  1. Identity

Ask for identity by mass spectrometry, or a blind test that can tell retatrutide from tirzepatide and semaglutide. Purity describes whichever peptide the lab detected, so a 99% result can belong to the wrong compound.

Published reports have found tirzepatide in vials sold as retatrutide: see our retatrutide substitution advisory and the XTP retest. In a separate case, Australia's regulator reported semaglutide and no retatrutide in a product sold as retatrutide (TGA alert, September 14, 2026).

Finnrick public result page for a retatrutide sample from Peptide Sciences dated April 22, 2025: sample does not contain retatrutide; another peptide detected, tirzepatide, purity 99.269%, quantity 4.38mg; identity Fail; stated amount 6 mg; batch RET7920231109-6.
Expected: retatrutide 6mg. Reported: tirzepatide 4.38mg at 99.269% purity. Finnrick's public result page for a Peptide Sciences sample dated April 22, 2025, captured October 3, 2026. This is a crop of the result page, not the original certificate; this archive stores the result as 0% retatrutide purity. Source result · TitrateLab record · Full screenshot

Our records: 319 of 18,740 purity results (1.7%) are recorded as 0%. A recorded 0% can mean the lab found a different peptide, as in the result above, so open the original report before drawing a conclusion. A purity figure above 0% does not show which peptide was measured, so look for an identity result on the report.

  2. Amount

Ask for the measured amount in milligrams, compared with the label. Labs define the milligram differently, so to check a seller's certificate, send a vial to the lab that issued it, and to compare several vials, send them all to one lab.

Our records: of 12,076 amount results, 52.6% measured more than 10% above the label and 1.7% more than 10% below; the rest were within 10%. Freedom Diagnostics reported 11,917 of all 18,764 entries, so most of this record reflects one lab's method. Finnrick results are not counted here because their reference amount is not always the vial label. Our analysis of results through August 15, 2026 compares amount and purity results across time periods.

  3. Endotoxin

Ask for a numeric result with its units and the lab's limit, not only a pass or fail.

Our records: 1,413 of 18,764 entries record an endotoxin pass or fail, and 3 were reported as failures. 37 record a result with no clear pass or fail. 17,314 record no endotoxin result, so this archive cannot say how often retatrutide vials fail an endotoxin test.

Get a retatrutide vial tested

  1. Search for your batch before you pay, because someone may already have published a report for it: search retatrutide batches.
  2. Choose a lab that names its identity method. Some labs' standard identity check matches an HPLC peak to a reference standard instead of measuring the molecule's mass.
  3. One unopened vial usually covers identity, purity and amount; endotoxin usually needs another. Get the method, vial count and report units in writing before you ship.

How to read these metrics

Every dashboard panel uses the same 18,764-entry Retatrutide aggregate, updated on 2026-10-18. Published entries have a recorded purity or amount-deviation value. Entries are stored results, not unique certificates or batches. Reviewed seller-code aliases are included. The median uses 18,740 numeric purity values, including recorded zero; it does not use entries missing purity.

The amount comparison uses 12,076 entries with a usable tested amount versus an explicit label amount. Below range is strictly less than −10%; within range includes −10% and +10%; above range is greater than +10%. Finnrick batch-claim comparisons are excluded because their reference is not consistently the vial label. A result above label is still a deviation, not a benefit.

The purity chart uses non-overlapping bins. “Below 99%” excludes the highest bin and rescales the bars against the remaining count. Recorded zero can reflect how the source stored a non-detection or zero-amount finding; read the original report before interpreting it as a conventional purity result. Findings can overlap across different tests and cannot be added together. Percentages are rounded.

Vendors with reports counts distinct stored vendor identities attached to these entries, not reviewed or verified businesses. Aliases, unresolved identities and later merges can affect this count. 444 entries have no linked vendor identity. This full-archive count is separate from the selected vendors below.

Lab names use the public lab-attribution rules. 361 entries have no attributable testing lab; these are shown separately and do not increase the 20-lab total. Finnrick's lettered labs are its anonymized partner-lab labels.

Monthly activity uses 18,704 valid test dates and 60 discovery dates where a valid test date is unavailable. 0 entries have no usable date. Months with no included entries are retained; the current month is incomplete. Activity measures the records collected, not sample quality or market-wide testing.

Endotoxin results show the verdict recorded in each source report within this same archive cohort. Recorded but unclassified results and missing data are separate; neither counts as a pass. Bare numeric readings do not imply a verdict without the applicable report specification. Endotoxin-only records without purity or amount data fall outside this archive cohort.

These are voluntary public tests of submitted samples, not a random survey of the market. Sterility and measured zero amount are separate measures not loaded here. Clinical papers in the research column are a separate evidence source and do not validate seller products.

Most-tested Retatrutide vendors

Ranked by included reports, most first. This comparison is a subset of the archive. Here, vendor averages range from 98.34% to 99.85%, yet individual results go as low as 11.20%, so an average can hide a low result.

How these results are counted and ordered

Each group shows up to ten eligible vendors, ordered by the number of included lab reports from highest to lowest. The full eligible comparison pool is sorted before selecting these rows. “Most-tested” describes included evidence, not every report in the archive or a vendor’s total testing activity. It is not a quality ranking or endorsement. Name previews are blurred before they reach the browser; readable names are available with Pro.

The comparison uses published, attributed reports from included source channels, with checkable sources and reviewed seller classifications. Other archived reports can fall outside these rules. Duplicate certificates and excluded vendors are removed. Each vendor needs at least 10 reports and 10 classifiable identity results. Vendors with the same report count retain a stable order by their stored vendor identity.

The identity check uses reported purity and recorded identity findings. Positive purity can make a report assessable without a separate identity-confirmation test. “Missing identity data” counts reports with no usable identity evidence; these never count as passes. One report can have several flags. Mean purity and purity range use the same positive results, excluding reports flagged for an identity concern; they can use a different count from the identity check.

These results describe submitted samples. They do not establish dose accuracy, endotoxin status, medical suitability or the quality of other batches. Full methodology ↗

Collection scope and sources

The dashboard summarizes published Retatrutide report entries with recorded purity or amount-deviation data. Updated 2026-10-18. Vendor comparisons use a separate source and eligibility policy with deduplication; their included-report counts are not a breakdown of every dashboard entry.

Recent reports are ordered by valid test date, independently of vendor ranking. Repeated copies identified by certificate links or file hashes are removed; matching measurements alone do not merge reports. Missing dates and future dates are excluded. Measured amounts retain their reported units; missing values are not treated as zero. Vendor attribution is shown only when identified.

Research articles and clinical literature are separate evidence sources, with their own study populations and publication dates. Clinical studies do not validate vendor products.
