Endotoxin Warning

A report of endotoxin levels measured at more than six times the accepted human threshold in a single peptide vial has drawn sustained community attention, with the discussion surfacing how few researchers routinely test for contamination before use.

Thanks for starting a discussion on this. I don't personally test for anything and this has been a wake up call. Out of general concerns this test has raised, I asked chaptgtp about how bad it is. I'll put the response below, but would appreciate anyone more knowledgeable correcting the record or expanding on relevant details

The 1360EU is an estimate. The actual result could be wildly different. The confirmed result is 2306EU. In a 30mg vial. 5EU/kg/hr puts the maximum EU for threshold at 350EU per dose in a 70kg person, 500EU in a 100kg person. As the maximum dose of tirz is 15mg, that is what should be used to determine is a vial is a fail. 2306eu/vial = 1153eu/15mg …
