Women with cardiovascular disease undergoing cesarean delivery under neuraxial anesthesia face high risks of perioperative hypoxemia, especially during post-fetal delivery sedation. Standard oxygen delivery methods often fall short in maintaining optimal oxygenation in this vulnerable population. This study addresses the critical need for improved respiratory support strategies to prevent maternal complications and ensure better outcomes during this high-risk obstetric procedure.
