ANGPTL3 Inhibitors Markedly Reduce LDL-C and Triglycerides, Offering Novel Cardiovascular Risk Reduction in Dyslipidemia
The Angiopoietin-like Protein (ANGPTL) Axis in Dyslipidemia: Mechanisms, Cardiovascular Risk, and Emerging Therapies.
Abstract
Pharmacologic inhibition of ANGPTL3 with antibodies and RNA therapies significantly lowers triglycerides, LDL-C, and apoB, providing a novel strategy for cardiovascular risk reduction in dyslipidemia.
