Dulaglutide vs. Tirzepatide: Patient Experiences in Type 2 Diabetes

Results
The study revealed significant differences in patient experiences between the two treatment strategies. Patients who switched to Tirzepatide reported a 28% greater improvement in overall treatment satisfaction compared to those escalating Dulaglutide (p<0.001). > Patients switching to Tirzepatide experienced a 1.8-fold greater reduction in perceived treatment burden and a 43% improvement in health-related quality of life scores over 6 months compared to the Dulaglutide escalation group. Specifically, Tirzepatide users reported 35% fewer gastrointestinal side effects impacting daily life compared to the higher-dose Dulaglutide group (p<0.01).
