The canonical fee-ladder. TikTok funnel into a Telegram group populated with shill usernames repeating endorsements. Order workflow:
- Initial payment via Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, or crypto ($305–$740 typical)
- “Refundable insurance fee” demanded before shipment (~$305)
- Fee negotiated downward when resistance appears ($205, $150); “refundable” is the critical word
- Additional “Consumer Use Tax” added (~$405)
- Refund conditional on yet another payment
Victim reports describe Zelle payments routed to a recipient name that recurs across at least two separate incidents, suggesting a single operator or coordinated cluster behind the “Mia” persona. The fake courier ExpressRouteHub is fabricated, no such logistics provider exists.
