Vendor Graveyard · Chronic / ongoing issues

BAOHUA / Baohua Dongnuo Biotechnology

This is one entry from the TitrateLab Vendor Graveyard, a dated, primary-source archive of peptide-market shutdowns, exit scams, and enforcement actions. Documented as dormant since December 2025. Sources for this entry are named inline below and numbered in full on the parent archive page.

China-based research peptide vendor. Joined GLP-1 Forum as a vendor account on March 28, 2025, ran promotional posts through Q4 2025 (Black Friday, Christmas sales, COA announcements), and last posted on December 21, 2025. The community flagged the BAOHUA vendor thread as [🚫INACTIVE 🚫] on the marketplace-vendor list in April 2026. As of July 31, 2026 that is seven months without a forum post.

Correction and update, July 31, 2026. This entry previously described BAOHUA as a stale-catalog problem: a vendor the community had written off, still appearing purchasable because “the primary data source (the vendor’s own channel) hasn’t been updated.” Re-checking our own pipeline shows that is not what is happening. BAOHUA’s Telegram channel is actively publishing price lists, the most recent captured by our ingest on July 31, 2026, and our vendor_pricelists table currently carries 203 BAOHUA SKUs flagged in_stock=1, drawn overwhelmingly from Telegram PDF price lists posted within the last day. The stock flags are not stale. The vendor is commercially active and simply absent from the English-language forum where the community tracks it.

That is a different and less alarming situation than the one we described, and the entry was wrong to characterise it as a data-freshness failure. The earlier 188 BAOHUA SKUs figure was an April 12, 2026 snapshot and linked to an internal route that does not exist and returns a 404 for readers; both the link and the framing have been replaced. The current figure is reproducible as SELECT count(*) FROM vendor_pricelists WHERE upper(vendor)='BAOHUA' AND in_stock=1, run July 31, 2026.

No exit-scam allegation has been publicly made; there is no documented customer-loss thread as there is for QSC. This remains a chronic-issues entry rather than an exit-scam entry, and the bar is deliberately different: seven months of forum silence from a vendor that is still shipping price lists daily is a communication gap, not evidence of wrongdoing. What a prospective buyer should take from it is narrow. If something goes wrong with a BAOHUA order, the public venue where other buyers would normally corroborate your experience has had no vendor presence since December 2025.

Editorial position We're pausing BAOHUA on TitrateLab-forwarded catalog pricing until the vendor demonstrates active community presence for at least 30 consecutive days, and we've updated our catalog-sync pipeline to flag (not hide) any vendor whose last forum-or-Telegram communication is older than 90 days. This is a catalog-surfacing decision: we don't want to route customers toward a vendor we can't reach for routine inventory questions.
