Background
The fixed-dose combination of semaglutide (a GLP-1 receptor agonist) and cagrilintide (an amylin analog), known as CagriSema, has already demonstrated significant and clinically relevant body weight reductions in adults with overweight or obesity in previous trials. However, the long-term efficacy and safety of this powerful combination over an extended period remained to be fully established.
