TV-1106 efficacy on body fat in GHD adults to be evaluated over 6 months

Study of TV-1106 in Growth Hormone-Deficient Adults

Background

Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD) in adults often leads to adverse body composition changes, including increased body fat and reduced lean mass. While exogenous growth hormone therapy is effective in mitigating these effects, there is a continuous search for convenient oral alternatives to improve patient adherence and quality of life. This study investigates TV-1106, a novel compound, to determine its efficacy in improving body fat composition in GHD adults, addressing the need for new, non-injectable therapeutic options within the growth hormone axis.
