Planned Study to Uncover Antiobesity Drug Effects on Appetite and Hormones
Impact of Antiobesity Medications on Appetite and Appetite-related Hormones and Metabolites.
Background
Obesity is a complex chronic disease, and antiobesity medications are increasingly used to manage weight effectively. While these drugs are known to promote weight loss, the precise mechanisms by which they modulate appetite and influence appetite-related hormones and metabolites are not fully understood. This study aims to comprehensively investigate the impact of these medications on the physiological and behavioral aspects of appetite regulation, addressing a critical knowledge gap in their mode of action.
