NG101 Reduces GLP-1 Side Effects in Healthy Adults: A Proof-of-Concept Study

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of NG101 in Adult Participants Receiving a Glucagon-like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) Agonist

Background

Glucagon-like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonists like semaglutide are highly effective for managing overweight and obesity, but their use is often limited by significant gastrointestinal (GI) side effects. These adverse events, including nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, can lead to poor adherence and discontinuation of treatment. This study investigates if oral NG101 can safely and effectively mitigate these common GI side effects in healthy adults receiving a GLP-1 agonist.
