Tirzepatide Improves Quality of Life and Work Outcomes for People with Obesity
Health-Related Quality of Life and Work-Related Outcomes in People with Obesity or Overweight Treated with Tirzepatide or Other Obesity Medications: United States Results from the Adelphi Real World Obesity Disease Specific Programme™.
Background
Obesity and overweight significantly impact an individual's health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and work productivity, posing substantial personal and societal burdens. While various anti-obesity medications (AOMs) are available, there's a critical need to understand their real-world impact on patient well-being beyond just weight loss. This study specifically aimed to compare the HRQoL and work-related outcomes of patients treated with Tirzepatide versus other commonly prescribed AOMs in a real-world setting in the United States.
