Novel Immunotherapy Combo Explored for Advanced Lung Cancer
SBRT Combination With rhGM-CSF and Tα1 for Stage IV NSCLC Patients Who Failed in Second-line Chemotherapy
Background
Advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly Stage IV metastatic NSCLC, presents a formidable challenge, especially for patients who have exhausted standard treatment options. These individuals often face a grim prognosis after failing second-line chemotherapy, highlighting a critical unmet medical need. This prospective Phase II study was designed to address this by exploring new, effective treatment strategies for advanced NSCLC patients with limited options, specifically investigating immunomodulatory approaches combined with radiation therapy.
