Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) systems, also known as closed-loop systems, automate insulin delivery based on continuous glucose monitoring. While clinical trials show promise, the long-term effectiveness and impact of AID systems on diverse patient subgroups in real-world clinical practice have remained less comprehensively studied.
