Mazdutide Outperforms Dulaglutide in Chinese Adults with Type 2 Diabetes
Mazdutide versus dulaglutide in Chinese adults with type 2 diabetes.
Background
Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugar, affecting millions worldwide, with a significant prevalence in Chinese populations. Current treatments often target GLP-1 receptors, but there's a continuous need for more effective therapies that offer superior glycemic control and weight management. This study directly compared Mazdutide, a novel dual GLP-1 and glucagon receptor (GCGR) agonist, against the established GLP-1 receptor agonist Dulaglutide to evaluate its efficacy and safety in a specific demographic.
