This is the first entry in The Ledger, the publication arm of TitrateLab. If you came here from the shop side of the site, the change in tone will be immediate. The shop is a marketplace; The Ledger is something else.
The aim is narrow. We track what vendors say they will do, and we follow up. When a vendor announces a domestic warehouse, a new lab partner, an international shipping window — we write down the date, the claim, and the person who made it, and then we wait. Some claims hold up. Some quietly fail. Some are walked back. Either way, the record sits here in public, with the receipts attached.
The model is Brian Krebs's krebsonsecurity.com, not because peptides are cybersecurity but because Krebs's discipline scales to any opaque market: investigate quietly, publish carefully, give the named party a fair window to respond, and let the cumulative archive do most of the work. Each piece on its own is small. Across years, they become the long memory the market did not have.
A few practical things to know up front. Articles are not press releases. We do not accept payment for coverage and we never will. Vendors who try to pay will be documented in the next piece. Tier 2 and Tier 3 stories — anything naming an individual or making a substantive allegation against a business — get a 48-hour right-to-respond window before publication, and the response is quoted verbatim. Corrections are visible: when something material changes, a dated UPDATE block goes at the top of the piece and nothing gets silently rewritten.
The byline is a pseudonym. That is unusual in research-peptide writing only because most research-peptide writing has been promotional. The institutional accountability for what gets published here lies with TitrateLab Research, whose disclosures are documented on the About page. If you have something the market should know about — a primary document, a COA, a shipping receipt, a screenshot of a vendor commitment — the tip line is iago@titratelab.com. Source identity is protected.
The first investigative piece is in the pipeline. This one is a stake in the ground.
