About The Ledger
The Ledger is TitrateLab's accountability publication for the research-peptide market — short-form investigative reporting on vendors, suppliers, COA labs, and supply-chain dynamics that affect anyone running protocols.
What we publish
- Vendor Watch — running accountability tracking for active vendors
- The Audit — COA / batch / purity / supply-chain investigations
- Breadcrumbs — developing leads, partial information, calls for tips
- Field Notes — educational explainers grounded in our data
- The Brief — weekly digest of small items
Editorial standards
Right to respond
Before publishing any piece that names an individual or makes a substantive allegation against a business (Tier 2 or Tier 3 in our internal taxonomy), The Ledger contacts the named party at least 48 hours in advance with a specific summary of what we plan to publish and an opportunity to respond on the record. Responses are quoted verbatim. Failure to respond by deadline is noted as such.
For Tier 1 pieces — verbatim public statements, public COA records, public domain/Whois data — no advance notice is required, since we are creating a record of facts the parties have themselves made public.
Corrections policy
Errors are corrected promptly and visibly. When a published piece is materially revised, we issue a dated “CORRECTION:” or “UPDATE:” block at the top of the article and never silently edit substantive claims.
The byline
Iago Verdi is a pseudonym. The author writes pseudonymously to protect against the harassment that has become routine in vendor-accountability journalism in adjacent markets. The institutional accountability lies with TitrateLab Research.
Disclosures
TitrateLab operates a peptide marketplace at this domain. The shop lists inventory from a curated set of vendors. The Ledger covers vendors regardless of whether they appear in our shop, and we cover ourselves when warranted. Specifically:
- The Ledger has full editorial independence from the shop. The author of any given piece does not consult the shop's commercial team prior to publication.
- We disclose at the bottom of every piece whether the named vendor is currently listed in our shop.
- We do not accept payment to write, suppress, or modify coverage. Vendors who attempt to pay for favorable coverage are documented in the next piece we publish.
